MR. GLENN RONESEN

Current Position: Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Ronesen took position as Managing Director of Atlas Chemical Tankers on 1st of May 2011.

As Chief Executive Officer Mr. Ronesen heads the entire Atlas Team, responsible for day-to-day running of our Company. He brings more than 20 years of business experience to the table, whereas a majority of these years have been withing the global field of Tanker Shipping.

Educated from NHI (Norway), Californian Lutheran University (US), Norwegian Shipping Academy (Norway) and Solstrand Management Studies (Norway), he sets the standard for our highly educated employees. 

Mr. Ronesen started his shipping career as a Trainee with Jo Tankers, whereas later moving on to Odfjell Tankers Bergen followed by Odfjell Tankers Houston. Working Europe-Far East, as well as USG-Far East and South America-Far East, he has aqqumulated substantial knowledge and experience about the global markets we operate in. From 2004 to 2011, Mr. Ronesen held key top level positions with Jo Tankers,Bergen, prior joining the Atlas Family.
